What must an Australian tax invoice show?
The seller’s identity and ABN, the words “tax invoice”, the date, a description of what was sold with quantity and price, the GST amount (or a statement that the total includes GST), and for sales of $1,000 or more, the buyer’s identity or ABN.
Do I charge GST if I am not registered?
No. If you are not registered for GST you must not charge GST or call your invoice a tax invoice. This maker switches to a plain “Invoice” when you untick GST registered.
Is my data saved?
Your business details and the last invoice are saved in your own browser (localStorage) so you don’t retype them. Nothing is uploaded. Use Export to back them up.
